or you know, realists who hate seeing you waste money.
You did buy a computer then ask a bunch of self declared experts to critique it, after all.
Oh snap! The 2400x2400 depressed as fuq frog pic! Look out!
BTW, the specs Cal posted did show 2 x RX 480's for Crossfire, so unless I'm mistaken, I thought you needed a Z board if you wanted to do a multi-GPU setup? Or has that changed?
The H170 boards has 2x pci-ex x16 slots.... the 2nd slot is 8x capable.... you can essentially run in 8x for both slots when both are occupied (and it works PERFECTLY fine even titans don't fully saturate 8x slots) In fact having ran a Rx 480 in a 4x 3.0 slot with zero performance difference that i could see, i would suspect those with pci-ex 2.0 8x slots would also be basically unhindered for older boards.
I was tempted to purchase 2x more of the 470's and run myself some triple crossfire again to see if i could manage triple 4k display arrangement for some games... but i think i'd rather just wait to see if a 490 appears or the potential of a first quarter vega.
