Few years ago the vast majority of keyboards were membrane keyboards and only if you paid some good money you would get a mechanical keyboard. Now, outside of some very cheap (price and quality) keyboards, it feels like you have to try to find a non mechanical keyboard. Funny. I was considering getting a new keyboard. Thankfully nothing physically wrong with the one I am using for the last year and a half. It's a logickeyboard JME-7597U. I like how it looks, all silver with colored keycaps (it's a video editing keyboard), and probably the most silent keyboard you can get other than those laser keyboards. My main problems with it are how the keys are colored and with shortcuts on them for an editing program I no longer use and it just feels weird, even annoying at times. Then it is the matter of how after using it as my daily keyboard for over a year and a half, I still haven't got used to it 100% and I still make mistakes with it that I shouldn't. I guess there is no chemistry between us. A shame as I said I generally like how it looks (no black plastic on top, or black keys) and love how it sounds. No. LOVE how it sounds. So quiet! ANYWAY, I am (no rush) looking to find a replacement and it's really difficult. I am looking for a full keyboard, wired, silent (really silent so no mechanical switches and yes that includes black switches or red or brown. They are all much louder than good membrane keyboards) and also not black (or very dark other color) keys or body. At least not the parts that show. With lighting if possible. N-key rollover of at least 5 keys. Any specific suggestions? Nothing from Razer, I refuse to give them a single euro again. Nothing from Steelseries, I refuse to give them a single euro again. Nothing from EVGA. I know they don't make keyboards, but I am mentioning just in case. Oh and not anything of triple digits (euros, dollars or pounds) as they are waste of money.
