Hi all in this forum, Well my problem is clear, high latency causes crackling, its not constant, but it gets pretty annoying >_< PD: Drivers updated, also tried YouPax audigy drivers I've got audigy 2 value on PCI any idea to fix this? Playing farcry 2, it starts with no sound crackling, then it starts with a very crackling (latency) as it shows here (i took the screenshot a few secs after a "crack" in sound) After playing for a long time, it start with more frequently cracks, and then it finishes like this, with continous -_-". also happens with sacred 2 specially in a zone in which my pc suffers a lot Is there anyway to give sound card more preference in pc tasks? (my onboard is disabled), or make it dont suffer pc latency :S Thx for reading and maybe answering ,
hmmm sounds like there's some miscommunicationsomewhere along the lines there try another pci slot, and post your results
I formatted my windows partition, since i had been long time without do that, the problem its less frequent now, but it happens again, Also changed PCI slot, no effect If any help my motherboard is a cheap ass one, asus m2v :/, and pci latency is set at 64, tried 256 and 32 (max min values) and no change thx for your answer anyways =) Ill report tomorrow, i found a web in which there are adressed many crackling issues with audigy, and my pc seems the Guru of those mixed in one xP, altho i can solve em all i think.
Ok, i tried everything and the only thing that seems working its PCI latency tool, it allowed me to set lower latency than BIOS, so happy now, thx for reading =).
