AS the title reads I need help finding the correct microsoft UAA Bus driver for High Definition Audio under XP X64 edition. Help me please
No problem at all, sorry that i kept you waiting on my email. at first i thought you might just need driver-only files, so i requested your email address. i also use that driver files to setup my XP x64 system that uses UAA Bus driver for HD audio. with different approach, but same result, the KB901105 update file can also be included in the initial Windows installation as well as applied after the Windows has already been installed.
can any one get me UAA bus driver for Xp64... please help me.. get me the link or even u can post it to my mail... its shivashanki@gmail.com
thank u brother... but after downloading the same i recieved the error msg as mentioned below while running it..." Update.exe is not a valid application for win 32".. actually i dont know much abt system... so guide me how to solve this problem...
That is odd. The only time I ever see that error is when trying to run that file on a 32bit operating system, or a system not supported by the updater.exe file that Microsoft uses in the KB patches. A couple things: What version of XP x64 are you running? Original, SP1, or SP2? If I remember correctly SP2 includes the UAA driver, so if you are using a version below that you can get SP2 HERE (of note, there is no SP3 for x64 XP). You could try extracting the files from the file itself using something like WinRAR, or 7-Zip to a folder. Once it's extracted go into the extracted folder, open up the folder labeled "update", right-click the file called "updatebr.inf", and choose to install from the list. Not too sure if it will work though, but it's worth a try.
