Well since thursday night I've been staying with my father (parents are divorced) because hes been really sick. He's diabetic and was having major health problems. This morning at 3am he went into cardiac arrest and passed away, I tried CPR but nothing...Just wanted to get that off my back.

You have my condolences man, I have been watching my own father with his diabetes for an entire year and receiving treatment for cancer, just recently he had most of his lower bowel removed and he is almost invalid, and his body is slowly wasting away. He still has his pride, and we keep him involved in everything but he remains home here, we wont put him in a rest home, he will spend his remaining days with us. I am always gone now, but I call daily to hear his voice and discuss my day with him. I dont know what is worse, when the time has come to move on, is it better to go all at once or linger and waste away, either way, as long as your dignity is intact, and people that love you are with you when you go, I guess that is better than tubes, IV's and machines keeping you on.

So sorry to hear about your loss.

I went through a very hard time with the loss of a close family member back in october and I still haven't recovered... so I know what you will be going through and the rest of your family... if you feel that you would like to have someone to talk to who understands then feel free to msn message/email/pm me and I will be more than happy to talk to you.

I sincerely hope that you start to feel better soon my man... I know it's hard.

Oh no, so sorry to hear your news - and you were right there, fighting for his life...

May the Lord cover you in your mind and heart with peace, and give you wisdom to deal with the situations you have before you and for your family.
