I THOUGHT IT WAS OPIUM U TESTED POSITIVE FOR (SHRUG):uhoh:
It is. I eat those things all the time too. I love "Everything" bagels.
Well now you've got me all worried!
How am I supposed to suck the dust out? I mean compressors and air blasts just blow it around... so what works? A dust cloth or a brush or something?
don't you need opiates to make heroine?
Sort of like needing cocaine to make crack, I think yeah
Funny how my computer turned into a conversation about drugs
it's your fault though.......you're the one who brought up Myth Busters . the rest from there is all downhill
Oh so its my fault for invoking the secret words
Oh what I do is follow all the guides I have seen. I hold the vacuum at least a foot away from the PC if not more.. after it is unplugged of course. Then I used compressed air to blow the dust out, and suck up the dust from the air with the vacuum.. it isn't terribly effective but it is better than letting the dust float around. I do the same thing when I fill the cat litter. The vacuum will suck the dust right out of the air. Then vacuum around the PC, all the dustballs that fly out and land on the floor etc.. Then vacuum the rest of the room, because that's where all the dust is coming from. Keep the room clean, the PC will be cleaner.
You might never kill any part vacuuming it out, but it would suck if a discharge killed your 500 dollar video card, or maybe just made it unstable for the rest of it's life because it zapped some insignificant transistor or something. Who knows.. I like to be VERY careful around my PC though because it is so freaking expensive ans so sensitive to static.
Yeah... well my house and vacuum are well grounded, I had an older vacuum that would cause static to be discharged to me through the handle from the carpets... needless to say I never used that.
But I do keep my work area dirt free as much as I can with 2 pets... and yet, still dust.
Yeah I have 2 cats.. it is very hard to keep on top of it. Takes a lot of work.
i got some compressed air today and cleaned out my keyboard. it had been a while since i cleaned it out.......OMG, the stuff i found in there . so disgusting :dead:. sad part is, it's all my shit :dead:
yeah LOL- every time I buy canned air I turn my keyboard upside down and spray it out.. Dusty stuff.
lol....i found more than just dust :bleh:
d'you find pubes and dried up spooge from late night porn marathons? i was eating popcorn the other night and spilled salt all down in my keyboard. : / hasn't affected anything yet. just bugging me to know it's there. but i refuse to spend money on such an abundant resource such as air in a bottle. $3 for some pressurized air. sheesh
actually grounding has nothing to do with static electricity caused by using the hose. grounding only protects against fault in the electrical circuit. PVC(primarily what most hoses are made of) is very prone to static charge. friction of just about any material, be it small bits of plastic and even dust create static charge.
but im not getting into the debate of whether u should vacuum ur pc or not.
something like that.....and as for the canned air......i get all the free canned air i want . where do i get it from? work, that's where .
lucky dog.( that's an odd comeback to come from me) i only get free scrap wire from work but that doesn't exactly get my puter clean though.
hmm.....i also get zip ties, flash lights, batteries......that's about all i can think of ATM.
sorry im not a great purveyor of the industry as some. :uhoh:
i just thought of some more freebies i get from work. i get zip-ties, electrical tape, wire nuts, hilti gun shots(pretty much a .22 blank. squeeze them gently with some "klines"(lineman cutters) and drop it on ground behind someone to scare the hell out of them.(use extreme caution!!!! ppl have lost eyeballs doing it), drywall pieces for when i get angry and punch the wall at home , um....i think that's it.
AH to hell with vacuums then! Sod the lot of them!
I'll just...lick the dust off of it like how cats clean themselves
