"Nanica Smitch" Mimics Look and Feel of Nintendo Switch, Comes with 800 Games

    A new gaming console named Nanica Smitch is attempting to capitalize on Nintendo Switch‘s success with an almost identical design, name and logo. The replica is currently being sold on a Colombian online store for approximately $50 USD.

    The Nanica Smitch features detachable controllers and can be hooked up to a TV just like the Switch, however the Smitch comes pre-programmed with 800 games instead of requiring separate game cartridges. One would think this would be an advantage over the Switch, but the Smitch’s games appear to be fake – likely unlicensed versions of Nintendo games. In the video below, someone using the Smitch can be seen playing a retro-style game.
