    Another great set Robert! I'm using the PAX X-Fi Home Theater HD 2012 V1.30 Default Tweak, and to be honest didn't think it could be much better than the previous set. To my suprise and my untrained ear the sound is tighter and more precise. Your work is much appreciated.

    hi Rob...thanks a lot for the drivers...tried them out and it's working in Windows 8...but the quirky thing where the Console Launcher always starts at Game Mode(& my settings at Entertainment Mode are lost) still persists...

    any thing I need to do to remedy the situation?

    * I have a XFi Prelude 7.1 soundcard...

    I'm having some issues on my Azentech X-Fi Prelude under Windows 7 with Logitech Z680 speakers with distortion, most noticably whilst playing music with sharp piano notes.

    It seems to be highs distorting I think. It's definitely not the speakers as I've tested them with other inputs, and the distortion disappears when i reduce the windows mixer volume. Changing the treble/bass in the mixer makes no difference. Is there a tweak which over-amps the output as on the previous drivers (Prelude v4.00) I can't recall any issues with the mixer at 100%.

    On a positive note though, thanks for the continued support and effort with the drivers! :)

    Yes! There's a song by Above & Beyond released for free, called Above & Beyond - Small Moments Like These on YouTube. I can't post a link because I haven't made 15 posts yet!

    The piano note at aprox 30 seconds makes a distorted sound.

    Go to speakers inf in common folder > Or system 32 and wow64 folders search for speaker inf. Then look for this Configuration\LowFrequencySeparation,40Hz~20KHz change that to > Configuration\LowFrequencySeparation,35Hz~20KHz make sure you change upper right number too then reboot. then your all set.

    Ooookay, no need to get touchy. I said thanks in my first post...I'm simply reporting a bug, or is this the wrong forum?! :hmm:

    Sooo...anyway, for the benefit of any other Logitech Z680 users, currently the latest drivers are slightly distorted or it's my system and I've yet to find out why
