Re: New Auzentech V1.35 Sets with Blu Ray HD audio Support are out now :D.

Hello I am using these drivers with the fixes this guy has suggested
    hardwareheaven.com/pax-download-auzentech-series/218000-new-auzentech-sets-v1-30s-out-2.html#post1463130

I am so far noticing that the treble seems to distort quite a bit. It's a similar issue to this guy but affects most audio.
    hardwareheaven.com/pax-download-auzentech-series/218000-new-auzentech-sets-v1-30s-out.html#post1461697

I use an Auzentech XFI Forte soundcard, original revision (No heatsink)

Edit: Ignore this, it may just be placebo. I will report back later this week if it really is causing distortion or not.

Thanks for all the good work.
I am a bit confused about the differences between version 4.00 (sticky) and the apparently newer 1.35. Could you elaborate?
    Cheers,
    Graham

Cn you please mention the name of the previous/older driver, when you create a new version and post it on to the internet? This way we can see which is classified as older!

    Hi,
I think that at the end of the line "Configuration\Treble,100" there must be a %.
I've found the mistake, if it is, in those files: 4.1, 5.1 and 7.1surroundsound.ini

Re : New Auzentech V1.35 Sets with Blu Ray HD audio Support are out now :D.

Hi, I just noticed that in the file 4.1suroundsound.ini there is:
    Configuration \ LowFrequencySeparation, 40Hz ~ 20KHz
    Configuration \ MidFrequencySeparation, 40Hz ~ 20KHz
    Configuration \ HighFrequencySeparation, 40Hz ~ 20KHz

But in other ini files (2.1, 5.1 and 7.1surroundsound.ini) there is only:
    Configuration \ LowFrequencySeparation, 40Hz ~ 20KHz

This is normal or there is a mistake somewhere?
Should we add the 2 extra lines in the other ini files or remove the 2 extra lines in the 4.1surroundsound.ini ?

Hi Robert. I've been a long time user of your PAX drivers and a regular reader on these forums, and I'd first like to thank you for your efforts in supporting us Creative sound card users much better than Creative does.

I was using my Auzen Prelude with your v4.00 drivers on Windows 7 x64 for the past few months. Seeing that you released v1.35 I decided to update, but although I did the usual uninstall/cleanup I couldn't get the drivers to install (recent "PAX_AZT_PRELUDE 2012 V1.35 Default Tweak.7z" file from Oct. 31, 2012). After reading logs and comparing old and new driver files for an hour or two, I finally discovered why:

It seems you have forgotten to copy your latest modified .ini files into the Vista driver directory (Audio\Drivers\vista\common), and Windows complains and aborts installation when it cannot find "2.1surroundsound.ini". Copying all .ini files from xp\common to vista\common has fixed the problem for me, and I'm currently listening to the brilliant sound your drivers provide.

Final note: The wdma_emu.inf file tries to include all .ini files as .inf files as well (lines 847 and 854), and these show in the SetupAPI log as errors, but they seem harmless as they don't break the installation. Just to let you know...
