Ok so my three year old Corsair Harpoon is not tracking properly anymore, needs replacing. Which mouse should I go for? I want to get either the Razer Deathadder or the Corsair Harpoon Pro, what do all of you think? And which do you use for gaming and do you like it?

I have just last month changed my 10 year faithful Logitech G5 for a Razer Death adder Elite and I love it

    Pros
    Extra thumb button
    very responsive mouse wheel
nice shape sits nice in the hand
    very responsive
    nice software setup

    Cons
bit light for me after the much heavier Logitech

My last two mice have been very nice.

Roccat Kone XTD... this one was an awesome fit for me, but it started to suffer from a massive double click problem, it wasn't ancient so I am not sure if the problem was age or not.

Logitech G502 Hero is my current mouse, very nice... I still like the feel of the Kone better, but this one is slowly growing on me. This one might actually be better for most since it is a little slimmer... still large enough for my long fingers, but I can also see it fitting well for normal sized hands.

Between Razer and anything else, I always go for anything else.
I want my things to last more than 2.5 hours and not cost 2.5 millions.

Been using a Roccat Tyon for the last 5 years..

No issues at all, I don't use a few of the extra buttons that is on the top. Neither are they in the way...

Weight + Size is perfect for me, any smaller then the edge of my Palm that meats the wrist would drag on the mousepad.

That''s the whole reason why I stopped buying Razer mice, I used to LOVE the Deathadder, but I've gone through over 10 Deathadders, the left click kept on dying on me, after sometimes less than a year, this current mouse I have has lasted just over 3 years, for me that is a good time to last and decent. I'll get the Deathadder V2, hopefully it is more sturdy than the Deathadders of old.

    Thank you everyone.

Any of the newer Logitech wireless mice HERE.

Personal choices: G703 or G903 both with Hero sensor. Runner up would be the G602.

I have the G703 prior to the HERO sensor, and I love the thing.

So turns out there was a small piece of dust stuck in my mouse laser sensor area, its gone now and the mouse has been tracking properly for the last 5 days or so, knock on wood, this mouse is still going strong. Here's to 1 more year!

In my case choice was determined by the wrist failing.... I had to switch to a "hand shake' style mouse Evoluent, at work I used left hand and at home, right.

So they still have that problem then. Good to know, all my previous Deathadders lasted a year then the left click would go.
