I've used Styl XP before, but I haven't lately- It caused some bugs so I uninstalled it..

I think I'll check this version out and see how it runs.

yeh vs 1 really sucked, you would have to reload it about 3 times to apply a theme, but the new one here works fine

    For sure.

I recommend StyleXP over WindowsBlindz anyday. Why? Because StyleXP takes so little resources! :) On the downside, there aren't as many pretty themes.

I use it because I can't stand the regular XP toolbar.

I've been using window blinds for a while now, but I think it's kind of slow. I think I'm going to uninstall it and try StyleXP again- Even ver 4.3 of WB is still slower that StyleXP was, but it's better than ver4.2...

    edit-

    2.04 is the latest version...

I haven't tried boot screen either- I was using bootscreen (windowblinds) - and it worked, but I don't need the extra hassle..

Anyway Style XP 2.04 is working great- much better than WindowBlinds which is slow, and takes up memory..

I'm using the VS I used when has StyleXP installed a long time ago- It's still one of the best VS's out there. It's shiny, and it has a small taskbar, just what I want.

It's called CPx2 (Pro) or something like that- Here's some screens..

Above sig? Not sure I know what ya mean.

I don't use the "themes" though, I use the visual styles and I just picked that background separately, it's from another theme... You can mix and match I guess.
