New StyleXP 2.02
Now up to date with Win XP SP2 RC1 (2096) support.
downloaded that this morning, way better than v1 which i was previously using (for a reason unknown to even me, i thought it was v2)
moved to software/tweaking
i wonder how many members of this forum use style xp - from all the os screenshots i have seen - barely anyone uses the basic xp themes
I've used Styl XP before, but I haven't lately- It caused some bugs so I uninstalled it..
I think I'll check this version out and see how it runs.
yeh vs 1 really sucked, you would have to reload it about 3 times to apply a theme, but the new one here works fine
I recommend StyleXP over WindowsBlindz anyday. Why? Because StyleXP takes so little resources! On the downside, there aren't as many pretty themes.
www.themexp.org for style xp themes
I use it because I can't stand the regular XP toolbar.
looks great New StyleXP 2.02. gets a bit boring looking at the same style
I have allways used stylexp very nice little app.
I've been using window blinds for a while now, but I think it's kind of slow. I think I'm going to uninstall it and try StyleXP again- Even ver 4.3 of WB is still slower that StyleXP was, but it's better than ver4.2...
2.04 is the latest version...
Im enjoying StyleXP 2.02, I've not tryed boot screen, would love to do this with out crashing, as it says it can happen, looks to good not give it a go
I haven't tried boot screen either- I was using bootscreen (windowblinds) - and it worked, but I don't need the extra hassle..
Anyway Style XP 2.04 is working great- much better than WindowBlinds which is slow, and takes up memory..
I'm using the VS I used when has StyleXP installed a long time ago- It's still one of the best VS's out there. It's shiny, and it has a small taskbar, just what I want.
It's called CPx2 (Pro) or something like that- Here's some screens..
i have that them im pretty sure - but i like the wmp9 one (corona is now)
Im useing blade theme also how did you get the theme back ground picture above your sig in forum thread
Above sig? Not sure I know what ya mean.
I don't use the "themes" though, I use the visual styles and I just picked that background separately, it's from another theme... You can mix and match I guess.
your very large picture, how did you post that pic in to your thread?
upload image to a file host, same as your sig for example.

Oh yeah, and to get that, you just press the "print screen" button, then open ph0otoshop or Paint and press cntrol+v.
