I'm using Creative XFI Titanium SB0880 on Windows 7 64bit.
I can't seem to install Creative Console Launcher 2.61.53 on 1.25 nor 1.20

Getting Error I-010 or CTShared not found messages. So I decided to install Creative Console Launcher 2.61.49 from Creative website.

Is the Creative Console Launcher 2.61.53 found in the 1.20 or 1.25 compatible for non-HD version of Titanium? I noticed 2.61.53 is only found on Titanium HD and where else 2.61.49 is found on Titanium (non-HD)

I had been using Creative official drivers untill recently. I updated to the latest driver 16/12 found on Creative and I've encountered volume/bass/treble settings not saving after restarting/shutdown. I visited the support forums for help and saw PAX drivers and decided to try out.

I'm using 1.25 with Creative Console Launcher 2.61.49.
I encounter the same issue on official drivers and PAX 1.25 whereby Volume/Bass/Treble settings are not saved after restart or shutdown.

I'm using an account with Administrator rights and UAC disabled.

Anyone has the same issue with the recent drivers?

I had use XFI PCI Fata1ty Pro Series before switching to this. Had no issues till recently after updating official drivers dated 16/12/2011 from creative.

I formatted my drive last 6 months ago with chkdsk/ccleaner done frequently. I just did a full proper uninstallation with driver sweeper and all. Used the installation CD and encounter Error I-001 CTShared not found while installing neither audio console or launcher.

What seems to be the issue?

\PAX X-Fi Titanium ALL OS Driver V4.25\Drivers\wdm\wdma_emu is the file i want? And then do i copy the file or the information inside the file and then paste it in the original tweak file? Where would the original tweak file be? Sorry, this is just a little confusing.

    Thanks,
    Gabe

Ya copy into WDM INI File .[COINST.AddReg]
    HKR,,CoInstallers32,0x00010000,"CtDvInst.dll,CtDevCoInstProc"
    HKLM,System\CurrentControlSet\Control\CoDeviceInstallers,{4d36e96c-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318},0x00010008,"CtCoInst.dll,CtCoInstProc"
    HKR,,OriginalSourcePath,,%01%
copy the tweaks below that line :). That where older tweaks are in older set.

Okay. First line of the new pasted tweak says [AddReg=XFi_Setup.AddReg PAX_Setup.AddReg BinaryClassID.AddReg XFi_XPDatabase.AddReg XFi_VistaDatabase.AddReg XFi_w7Database.AddReg XFi_Config.AddReg COINST.AddReg Setting_TweakDatabase_Config.AddReg Setting_Config.AddReg, PAX_Config.AddReg]. Was this supposed to be the first line to be pasted and then everything else under it? Also, would my speakers not work properly if I deleted the old tweaks and put in the new ones improperly? Right after i saved the file the speakers still worked fine. ALSO, WHAT ARE THE MAIN TWEAKS IN THIS NEW UPDATE? Better mids? What?

    Thanks,
    Gabe

I think i did it right. I don't know if i can tell much of a difference in sound but i think i can slightly. I lower the bass in console launcher to 25% fro the default 50 because when i max out on my klipsch it distorts too much. Other than that i'm liking the updates. I know these can get better for sure. What would you recommend for audio playback, entertainment or audio creation? I switch between both all the time and still can't choose whicd one is best.
