    Hey Robert!
First, I want to thank you a lot for your work you invest in the PAX drivers!
    I really love them!

I have just upgraded from the PAX 1.35 driver to the 1.40 driver and so far I can tell that the difference is very noticeable in positive.
I am using your driver with headphones mainly. Using the Sennheiser HD 800 together with two diffrent amps and also the Pioneer HDJ-2000.
So far I can tell that the bass response is better and more dynamic on 1.40.
I've also noticed that overall stereo sound-mix is drasticly clearer than before.
Additionally, the "Bass-Boost"-Feature on the Console Launcher is working properly now for headphones (it didn't work for me on the 1.35 driver).
The X-FI CMSS-3D Mode (which I only use for games sometimes), also appears to be improved. It sounds less "monoish" with added echo but more transparent and stereo-alike giving it a better "artificial" surround sound.

Anyways, I love the new driver!
Thank you Robert and all the fellow testers here! Keep up the good work :)

Hi Robert McClelland you get a good driver, what can you say about "Exposing Hardware-Offloaded Audio Processing" in Windows 8?

Ok. Another question: Creative driver as a basis to
    wait, or perhaps do without
    them? Sorry for my English.

The bass on the new drivers are great and the quality seems improved overall. Response time seems better and the bass stands out a lot more on my subwoofer and it sounds sweet. Did you keep the mids at 48? what did you change on these drivers? Nice job Robert
