Works fine for me, too. I can't listen much difference, but maybe I have the wrong sound system and not the right person to test ^^ The updater is still present.

Version 5 is for older PCI cards!

Version 4.25 is for newer PCI-Express cards!

@ Robert McClelland, I have been here (but not lately) since YouP PAX and Classic Leon made the drivers so you do not think I am newbie to using modded drivers/App's!

Please just concentrate on getting drivers sounding better than Creative's POS and ideally when you make a package of App's try get latest ones as some claim to be but are older than ones I have found elsewhere years earlier!

Creative really are not very good at giving us a refreshes even if its just eye candy/bling for their software App's like making the player work fully with Win 7 SuperTaskbar (pause/play etc).

I am glad you bought a new card same as I had to last month due to new Mobo having no PCI slots but even then the cards are years old and still not that good sound quality same as most of Creative's recent crap in past few years!

At least now you can make a good driver when the next final build appears from Creative and hopefully find the latest build of all the App's or somehow mod some from the newer Titanium HD software suite!

There is no need IMO to remove auto update it caused you problems as you know) as its very easy to tell it to not update and never ask you again or block with a startup blocking App!

The basic GUI Creative Audio Console should stay where it is as its part of the drivers normally and handy at times!

Sites get up dated with stable driver only :). You find test driver here more because not alot people siging up at new forums lately lol. That why I do more testing here because people know this site better lol.

OMFG Thank you so much for these drivers!!! I was afraid that my Turtle Beach Z6A 5.1s were not going to work with the Titanium HD and after I saw in the Control Panel > Sound the jack layout I plugged in all 5 of my jacks into the card, selected 5.1 channel speaker layout in Windows, still have to choose headset setting in Creative Audio Control Panel, but it appears to give a simulated 5.1 channel surround via analog. With this sound card though, I don't care if it's not discrete 5.1 channel; it's the best sounding card I have owned :)

Are these compatible with Windows server 2008 R2?
The original creative drivers work fine, so I think you should be able to do it as well.

AW: New Titanium HD and Titanium driver test thread.

Is there a way to manually set to 2.1,4.1,5.1? One of my FlexiJacks is broken (the detection part of it, it always shows something is connected but it isnt), i cant switch to 2.1 because it always sets it to 4.1? Is there some small app that fix it?

    greets
...and no, i dont have warranty left on my card ;) (Its a Titanium (non HD))
