Hi Everyone - I've been coming out here for the past 2 weeks or so and reading the posts. I tried very hard to figure this out before posting the following "dumb newbie" question, so please be gentle... Anyways, I've downloaded the latest version of the Catalyst drivers (10.8) from ATI, and I've done this now with both the mobility drivers and the standard ones. When I run the Modder program, it just flies by and says "driver modification finished", however nothing really happened. A while ago when I first tried doing this, it did something to an MSI file, but that isn't happening anymore... Any thoughts? Are my drivers really up to date? I'm running a Dell Studio 16 XPS 1640 w/ ATI 4670HD 1GB. Thanks in advance, khumprp
theres no need to modify the drivers since 10.3. just install the official 10.8 (soon 10.9 will be out) mobility driver from: ATI Catalyst? Mobility Display Driver (win7 32bit) ATI Catalyst? Mobility Display Driver (win7 64bit) if you have another os, just fill in the download drivers form on the right from ati.com accordingly.
This is not accurate....or something else is amiss. The mod tool does its thing.....three passes....and makes absolutely no difference to 10.8 drivers. Cannot install them on a Toshiba notebook....Satellite L650 07C...win7 64 bit 4gig ram....HD5650 Mobility.
I want to say the same thing. I can install my drivers, but nothing happens. I'm stuck at what it was before.
