an hour after i took these pics, i applied gloss coat and now i have to wait 1 WEEK(!!!!!) until i am able to buff it. then i shall put it back together. and the gloss coat will cure so that the paint will stay on the controler and off of my hand(supposedly)

the controller will feel differently now though. texture wise at least. why didn't you just take it apart and that way you were for sure not going to touch any of the electronics of the controller?

have u looked at the crazy a$$ screws? they are torx, yes. but there is a pin in the middle, so as to prevent average person from getting in there. i could drill out the pin, but risk damaging the torx head. : /

I'm pretty confident in the job i did of taping against the internals.

:x :x :x :tears: :tears: :tears: i spent six hours watching videos, taking tests, discussing scenario's, hanging from what appears to be a gallows with a dummy parachute, jumping off a platform and learing how to fall correctly, got suited up, headed for the airplane only to find out they were grounded due to a damn thunderstorm that brewed from humidity. so what if the winds are expected to be 60+MPH! i wanna jump damnit! >:-/ the storms didn't blow over so they closed up shop, but we stayed and drank some cold ones anyway. gonna try again next saturday.
