are on for a test, only in off topic.
sweet so now we can rate posts!! nice i think u should do that in news too
I was wondering why it looked different...
evil, the news one is a good idea, keeps the popular ones on the front page maybe?
ok ill turn it on in news as well - is anyone liking this ?
IM LOVING IT!
maybe u can add it to the hmm game section, ati section maybe art section oh and the buy and sell section OH and ofcorse the technology section
just messing but the news rating is a good idea
i think the ratings in the news is a good idea.
(providing it's not held against us :hmm
the news rating may have more benefit that rating in any other forums except the heavenly visions/echoes forums(but then it can also hurt people's feelings if the ratings are low on their work)
News rating - good suggestion.
I'm sorry guys...but i don't see the point of any of these rankings.....what difference does they make anyway..
I guess they are there to let users know how good or bad people think a thread is without going in themselves to find out..... lol
Well how do you rate them? If there's a button it isn't big enough cause I can't see it.
inside a thread, bottom right, panel. "rate this thread".
Oh yeah, I just saw that-- thanks. It's so slick I missed it.
Its only available at the minute in offtopic and news threads. trial period.
so what you all think so far? good?, bad? crap?
wait a second, can you vote only once each thread or can you vote every post?
I think I found a minor bug.
If you make a post, and forget to vote, but you wanted to, you have to make a second post in order to vote..
If you go back to edit the post, just to vote, the option to vote isn't there..
You can only vote once per thread right?
one vote per thread yes.
I really don't have a opinion about this other than that i think it is rather pointless...
yea, it does seem kind of pointless
It seems like it would be more useful if you didn't have to post to be able to vote...
It might be more productive if anyone that reads it could vote- don't know if it's possible though..
