Didnt have time to finish the braiding off plus its not the best braid material in the world going to tidy the braid work up this week when my new roll of heatshrink turns up.

still got the window to fit, cable braid tidying, and a custom front door, then its time to start project 2

CJLMTLCA, what cables are you using? Are those the ones that Corsair sells?

The top section is just a faceplate with no drive bays behind it, so if i had more room, i would have used at least one more, a card reader/usb3 panel :D

yes, official Corsair sleeved cables. I tried to sleeve my pump, i ended up almost anchoring the computer to my ankles and tossing it off the roof of my building.

There's a spare slot at the bottom, Tak. That's where the GTX570 folding 24/7 for HH is supposed to go :p

Sure. Buy me a new AC system, pay for it to be installed and I'll run the 570 24/7 :)

    Looking very nice, Tak :)

I need to upload a new photo of my rig... Of course that means I'd need to clean the dust out :(

Another shameful (by the standards of this thread!) photo of my rig as it currently stands :p

Yes, that's a 92mm Antec Tri-Cool strapped to my graphics card. This new case with it's (extraordinarily) quiet fans was letting my northbridge heatsink get too hot to touch under any significant sustained CPU load. It wasn't causing any problems, but I figured better safe than sorry, and that 92mm fan on its quietest setting seems to do just the trick. I might invest in a PWM exhaust fan down the line as a less bodge-ish solution :D

I know. I got it second hand as part of a big lot of components. The bent fin is why I didn't sell it on.

LOL at the fan. I did something similar a while ago, but the darn thing got loose! I was lucky enough it got safely lodged in a safe place, so no damage was done (I didn't even know until I opened the case to clean it).

I would for a PC to sell, but hey, my CPU is worth £20 and I don't have a case window... it hardly seems worth the effort for any tiny benefit it'd bring me.

Well I've transported this PC by car for a long distance with this arrangement now, and can report that it held up perfectly :)

Doesn't vibrate or anything? That would be that most annoying thing. Looking good blibb :)

Nope. I'm a big quiet-PC obsessive, so nothing vibrates :p

Looking nice and clean. Did you mod the tray for the cable runs?
