There are some really nice rigs & setups in this thread, keep them coming!
=D i just added one small fan for the hot air comming out from my 8800GT
Well now that my review is done I get to play with my new toy
I also am running another mobo I was sent that experienced damage being shipped a while ago and think I got it fixed and running fine. I brought my OCZ RAM cooler out of storage to cool the 2G OCZ Gold PC3-10666 DDR3 RAM (all I can afford right now).
So running this for a while using Windows 7 beta (64 bit), Vista Ultimate X64 and XP SP3 (32 bit) and playing with it
(I also added a 120mm fan (ingoing) to the top chamber to cool the RAM and chipset)
You can still see the coolant temp through the side panel of the Tempest
looking really nice. Those Domino coolers have a really clean setup to them
I definitely like that case. Very stylish!
Thanks and I do have some cable management left to do on that one
The Domino is very easy to install and works great I would recommend it to anyone !!
Am I witnessing the day when Lowfat went away from the liquid cooling setup
you most certainly are, i never thought it would happen either so holy shit :x
Yup, and I won't be going back either. Too much hassle for me. And I am not near as calm and patient as I was a few years ago. My last WC project ended me throwing a case that I spent $500+ on in the closet and selling all my WC because of the anger and frustration it caused me.
Lowfat, is that a case where it is meant to have the motherboard "upsidedown" or did you just mount it that way?
i still miss the voodoo 2's and mineral oil cooling setup... the utlimate liquid cooling..
told ya, liquid cooling, just isn't worth it imo....
Some cruddy pics of my setup as it is at the moment
The dates are obviously incorrect
It is meant to be that way. I don't mod cases anymor either. It is just as tiresome
You didn't have to deal with the smell and how my entire room was coated in a layer of grease. Almost like the floors at burger king. It was insanely nasty.
sorry for the lousy low quality pic :dead:
Lol I love the piggy neo.
haha thanks, yeah hes pretty cute.
It was a promo from Crucial memory, hes called a "memory Hawg"
hes squishy ^_^
LOL on squishy
I am assuming the system in your system specs is in the box on the right .. whats in the box on the left of the monitor?
The box on the left is about to become an HTPC for the bedroom. I just need to add a larger HD.
Right now its a Dell Dimension C521 (space saver case) w\
-Athlon X2 5200+
-ATi 4550 512MB w\HDMI out
-80GB HD (gonna toss it for a 1TB)
That's cool and thanks for the reply
