I've been using Office 2000 and really don't have any pressing need to upgrade to a newer version for functionality. I also haven't been using Outlook at all for email but recently came into a situation where I need to do that. So, I updated the Office 2000 components again via Office Update and everything is now current. I'm able to use Outlook to get and send email for this particular purpose, so, it's functioning fine in that way. So, what's the problem? Everytime I close Outlook it generates an error. It's easy enough to just close that error window, but, is anyone else using this version and getting an error upon closing it? Sending an error report and then clicking on the new link simply says that the product has reached the end of its support cycle and MS advises upgrading to newer products.....exactly what I DON'T want to do.
