I jusr recently built a new system for a friend of mine. His MB dies, and as old as it was (has a P3 in it), he was much better off goin with a new system. The problem is that he didn't have the luxury of backing up some things. The most important thing hw would like to get back is his address book from office 2002. Now, he has a nice new 1TB HDD which he is using for his system drive, and his old 40GB IDE HDD is also installed as a data drive. I have him setup with a dual boot system with XP 32 bit and Win 7 64 bit. We went into the XP system, and installed his copy of Office 2002, but we can't seem find anyway to get his address book transfered to the new system. I found a folder named ADDRESS BOOK on the old drive with a .wab file inside it, but can not find an ADDRESS BOOK folder in the new wystem. Can anyone give me a clue as to how to get his old address book into his new system?
i think it is here C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft that is where i found the contacts, and the mail..
