SteamWorld Dig 2, which is a platformer of sorts, is free on Steam and GOG, so this time there's something for @Trusteft , assuming he doesn't already have the game in his sumptuous collection.

Apparently there will be a lot of something-something on GOG in the following period. I have no info on the actual titles, but this should be the schedule: 15.12. a contest of some sort 16.12. goodies giveaway 22.12. another contest 23.12. a game giveaway 27.12. a second game giveaway 3.1. a third game giveaway Also on GOG, Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun is free! Over on the Epic Game Store, supposedly from this Thursday, the 14 Days of Free Games begin. The rumour is that the first game will be Shenmue 3.
Back in my day game companies didn't give you free games like this, but heck, I'm not complaining. (I think the reason so many companies can give away such good games when they're barely old is because they make SOOOO much money with the large influx of people now playing due to covid and 2) they make TONNES on microtransactions).
