Newegg.com - 5870 In stock, 3 brands of 5870s. Asus, Saphire, XFX. In stock as of 1:44 A.M EST @ bluemak i still want to know why XFX gets to charge 80 dollars, so they can supply you with the overvolt tool. that's the only difference between their 2 5970 versions.
I don't work for XFX....? My guess is, because they can? They might think (and they might be right) that people trust their products so much that if they want to use it, they will pay extra for it. I don't care either way (for them) since I find them a bit more expensive than the rest and because I have an excellent "relationship" with Sapphire cards for years and they will always be my first choice.
No idea, the 5670 is slated to be in some of the newer books, I'm still having trouble finding 5970s, but waiting for my 5870 lol
