i think the reason you got so many views was due to the thread title....many, including myself, probably thought it contained information saying they were released...but were disapointed!
Not yet, I'm working on solving a specific problem with laptop support, as soon as I fix it, the'll be out.
It is really a shame.. One may have to wait till nvidia publish 3 more realeases before this one comes out. If it were ATI-drivers, we would even make a new order for the one that came out today.
So what should he do man. Release them even though there is a small bug affecting people who use lap tops? That would be a shame! Unfair for those people anyhow. It wont take long. even if it does. At least you are guarenteed perfection and not something thrown together by someone who does not care about small bugs.
i still think that it could be released in the forum just for desktop users, with the label BETA and with a warning for laptop users, i have nvidia graphics card on my laptop and on my desktop. but it's the desktop that is needing it

AH oh no. I want my mtv... i mean omega driver. I got this banging 5900 xt waiting...its just waiting i repeat waiting for the driver. when the driver is here..bill will be happy (name of videocard). well Lets pray its soon.
I read on the 3d guru forum that the starstorm drivers were a scam and that they actually lowered image quality. Apparently the guru monitor deleted the post. Anyone else know anything about this?
I gave them a try on my FX5900 and had no problems with them, image quality was as good as the Omega drivers. This was the 56.72XQ version, the 56.72X version were not as good.
i am using the starstom drivers. usually get 90 to 100 fps in nascar 2003 with the Omega drivers. i am getting 60 fps average with start storm. Mr Omega i am like any others waiting on pinns and needles for the next driver version for Nvidia Oh ya my card is a FX 5600 ultra 128 meg
