Argh fudge... forgot my bootable WinXP CD (not the installation) with ghost 8.0 at work. I won't be able to test the DNA drivers tonight. Anybody had a go at these drivers?

    Note: funny icon dig

Credit nVnews, and it's one of me faves. They added it after a bunch of us just kept posting stuff like,
The Dig grabs his popcorn and plops on the couch to watch the fireworks from the sidelines, in threads where the classic ATi/nVidia arguments would flare up. :)

I wish I would have because I would have won. The DNA drivers have been out for a few hours now.

    You can get them here.

Please state what will the extra 15 fps help you with? I see many reasons why shadows are needed (hint... something to do with baddies runing arround that are very difficult to spot).

Also note, I check out the post on DNA-Drivers.nl and I am puzzled why you install ATI's drivers, then DNA's? Just install DNA's drivers only (well I'd suggest just sticking to ATI's, but anyway). You don't need to install both (actually, installing both might be the reason for your massive drop). Also, I'd suggest you uninstall and clear any registry setting before switching from driver to driver.

There is no longer any need for this thread. The question has been answered.

Nik.dk, you've been warned once already about the propaganda. This is your last warning.
