Well, the World is a weird place I gained 10 frames average in Far Cry; Tried 4 different levels indoor/outdoor, NICE!
is it just me or is ut2004 performance smoother than before? espicially in smaller deathmatch maps speed matches quality?
Here is my mirror http://www.utforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=264 Note: you have to download the file from that page, if you link to the file instead of the page it wont work.
nice speed on the new release, a few points though I got the new release which removes the gamma fix but still farcry and ut 2004 turn out darker than before. I had to bump up the ingame gamma settings a notch to get visible playability...is that a common issue or am I doing something wrong here, I didnt get the first release went directly to the fixed release 2.5.36a from omega 2.5.30
You did it again Omega Angel You made us happy fixing the gamma issue and giving us stable fast drivers THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUUU
I knew you could do it in such short notice Omega! Thanx! PS: Did ya check the new competition? There's a new "ATi Catalyst-tweaker" in town! They're called "New Generation Order" Check it out! May be interresting for you!
In last two versions of omegas there's the quickresolution feature removed from the tray icon. Why? I use that very much and I didn't like the separate software to replace that feature (multires). Hopefully someone else uses/likes that tray resolution feature as much I do, and it will be returned. Otherwise very good job!

regular 4.4: 220.7 fps flyby antalus, omega 4.4 225.6 fps flyby antalus(ut2004, default flyby)......well he got me interested in what did he do internaly ??? im kinda:w00t: as i didn't expect this.
Omega, I'm having problems with your latest drivers and Radlinker that is bundled with it NOT working. I've tried a few games and the settings won't change using custom Radlinks that I create. Like for one game I run with 4x AA and 8x AF with High Quality and V-Sync ON... Then on another game I'll want to run at 2x AA and 8x AF with V-Sync OFF and the settings don't work when the game starts... Not sure if it's a problem with your latest drivers or the Radlinker that you updated that is causing the problem. I'll try to troubleshoot it a bit and install the offical Radlinker and see if that fixes it. If I can't get it working gonna have to revert to the Catalysts to my regret Thanks for your work on your drivers btw. They are always great
OmegaCorner why did you remove the Gamma Fix, there are several people atleast people still playing UT with OGL that are kinda annoyed with this problem ? It would have been nice to know why you removed it? Or do we have too go back to Catalyst 4.1 too get the gamma too work again ? Kinda irritating when ATi won't do anything about it and you fixed it then released a "fix" that disabled it again, wtf ? Besides your drivers a flawlessly as allways cujo's on the drivers except the OGL issue. Eagle
The gamma fix was intended to fix gamma issues on the desktop, like when using Adobe Gamma, or for some windowed applications, BUT, if I added the fix, which worked perfectly for the desktop, gamma would NOT work at all in OGL games (it does nothing when you move the gamma sliders in the game). Gamma DOES work on UT, but you have to set the slider to the desired gamma value, then exit and enter the game, the gamma will be applied. The problem is because of the UT engine, not because of the drivers.
I had a problem downloading these drivers... Taking forever. Here is a link I found I would like to share with everyone while it lasts.. Too me 15 seconds to download http://www.accesswave.ca/~sruxton/drivers/rad_w2kxp_omega_2536a.exe
Okay my bad on that issue, but why did the slider ingame on catalyst release 4.1 ? Why dosen't it work anymore that's the issue here? Well the gamma didn't work on Catalyst 4.3 and Catalyst 4.2 but it worked now, but when I exited UT again the gamma applied to the desktop also though I just selected gamma for Full Screen 3d. Anyway thnx for your quick reply Eagle
Thanks. I am excited to try these drivers. I been having such a terrible time playing Call of Duty. Graphics are laggy no matter what I try and trust me, I tried it all!! Anyways Thanks for a fast release of these drivers and have a great weekend! Berrie!
