Opera Software Thursday released the completed version of the Opera 11 browser, which has been available in various states of pre-release since October. This version of the browser breaks new ground for Opera, and includes support for extensions and introduces a new tab management system.

Installed it at work today (yet to install it at home). I'm surprised that they're able to release v11, considering it's designed to handle HTML 5, which (if I'm not mistaken) isn't finished.
Fast as hell too. Opera 10 wasn't slow and 11 is noticeably faster.

HTML5 won't be officially finished for a few years, but it's the buzzword of the day so all the browsers have to support it. ;) Like I mentioned in "Randomness...", I like the addition of extensions, which, like FFF extensions and unlike Opera Widgets, actually do useful stuff related to browsing. :D

    Yes and yes. :)
Opera has had a built in add blocker for a while, just right click somewhere on the page, choose "Block Content..." and click the stuff that you don't want appearing.
If the built in blocker doesn't satisfy you, there's also NoAds (NoScript+AdBlock).
Google Translate add-on can be found right here.
There are a couple of other tools for the same uses as well as for other purposes available here.

One thing I forgot to mention when I was answering Comp_Ali, just like add blocking, Opera also offers translation tool out of the box. Select text, right click and choose the desired languages under Translate. It just uses Babel Fish instead of Google Translate.

Essentially, Opera does almost anything you could wish a browser to be able to do out of the box and it's also fairly configurable, but with extensions it's potentially possible to improve the existing capabilities as well as add whatever might be missing.

I've been using Opera as my main browser since 9.x, for me its the most stylish and usable/secure/advanced of them all. Too bad it's so poorly known among the masses...
