I got an x850xt and it needs to be cooled, read somewhere that you could help this a little through optimizing the fans, but how do i do that? Sorry for nooby question:duh:

stock is fine. unless your computer doesnt have any other fans in it. I would use ati tray tools instead but doesnt matter.. What i did was just set the fan speed for the first/2 temp to as high as i could get it without hearing anything\ werid why is it all 98 98 98
Did you see his picture? Above 0 = 5% Above 91 - 18% Mental. I'd say kick the fan up to 33% once it hits 45 then kick it up to 50% when it gets to 50, 67% @ 60, then anything above that, 75 - 100% depending on what you're like when it comes to noise
oh thanks for your kindness, now it works great! I have another question :x:x:x:x:x:x About fans - do you know if its possible to change the fanspeeds of the three i have in my chassi? I tried with fanspeed and put them on 100 % but every time i leave the program it reloads default and when i actually change i neither feel or hear any difference - so obviously it doesnt work there. ANy other ideas? Preferably easy :w00t:
I don't understand your paragraph all that much. You are trying to change the fan speed but nothing is happening? If so, not all motherboards have fan control, and almost none have all the fans able to control.
