I do not think you can expecte a new driver from creative in a very looooong time
Anyway thanks for the new set, it sound clear and nice.
If you want all you need do copy tweaks into other release beta drivers if you wish not that hard . People having issue with DTS encoder.
Hi Mr. McClelland,
the "Bass Boost" for Headphones doesn´t work. I can check it but there is no acustic effect.
In my Windows 7 time there was no problem but this is a couple of month ago.
My System: Windows 8 Pro x64
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Fatal1ty Edition
have a nice day
Try the other set it has windows 8 beta drivers in it i need updated tweaks for it though.
I use the "PAX MASTER PCI XFI Driver Suite 2013 V1.00 Default Tweak Edition 03\10\13" Pack.
And all the other packs before have the same problem too.
Since Windows 8.
All you can do reported submit a bug to creative I just tweak them for better sound .
Nice to see new driver set
I use the driver pack you posted in #153 can you please tell my the changes from that driver set to this new one?
I just reupload the new set change matrix to 71% sound even much better now.
I just installed your old pack xD
Can you upload the the ini files (with 71% matrix) so i can replace it in system 32?
Edit: the changes was made in subwoofer.ini, right?
I use windows x64 so i also need to change subwoofer.ini in syswow64?
both be fine in windows 8 you have reinstalled whole driver again. some reason I can't save the inf file for some reason.
1. Add notepad to "windows 8 metro screen"
2. Run notepad as administer
3. Select "all files" and browse for subwoffer.ini
4. Do the changes you want and then save.
Hi. I've been using your drivers for a while, and I have to say Im amazed However, I'm having a small issue with the new drivers/driver pack. Neither the console nor Audio Control Panel work. I just get told that the audio device supported by this application is not detected or The Current selected audio device is not supported.
You may have stop creative service before you installed them. And delete old software and program folder before reinstalling the set please used reg fixer. I do highly recommend driver cleaner.net it's worth fixing that issue.
I've tried about everything now. Uninstalled everything, used reg fixer, installed drivers etc with driver signing disabled. I get sound through the card, so obviously the drivers is working. But I can't configure it, cause both the console launcher and the Audio control panel says the card is not supported. Im using and X-Fi Xtreme Gamer Fatal1ty btw.
Edit: Did a fresh windows install and it solved the issue. Too bad I had to do it, but hey. At least now I got it working with your awesome drivers
Edit: Settings are now saved again, but every time my computer has been completely shut down or rebooted, it's like my bass is completely missing, and I have to open the THX setup console, go to bass management, change the size of the speakers and then change back again. Any thoughts?
nope it just could be creative bug at there end. Glad you got the drivers to work right way.
Could be. But hey, at least settings are saved and sound is working. Having to change just the speaker size with about 6 clicks at boot isn't the worst
for music Suite V2.35 is better than this, please continue tweak
