Thanks for the driver, is it possible to just change the ini-files, or do I have to do a clean driver install?

    Hi
    in this case ...
    delete ".ini"-files in "Windows\System32\... & Windows\SysWOW64\..."
start "Drivers\Setup.exe" only and set overwrite option
after reboot it should work with new tweaks .

i saw your note about 'hotrodded with LM4562 opamps' whats your experience
with that mod compared to the original hardware ? i'm rely interested ...

    greetings

    Thanks, I will try that.
About the LM4562, it gives a wider and richer sound, it's like a totally different sound card.
The bass now sound like a sound, not like a noise as before.
I don't recommend an unexperienced to make those changes, better to buy an Auzentech X-Fi with swappable opamps.

That didn´t work by the way ;).
Had to do a real cleanup and install. It´s important to clean the old files in the "C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore" or they will install the old inis again.

Hi. Ive install 1.35 driver for windows 7 on xfi gamer card. And after a few hours i heared a little saprks going with the sound. Every program which makes sounds like players, broweser and etc do the sparks. After that Ive install clear windows 8.1 and this 1.40 driver, but sparks still here. Sparks are gone only if I chenge mode (ent, gamer, audiocr). Early pax drivers worked fine.
    What should I check?

ya when I get the time. Most PCI XFI cards even DELL OEM works with it. XFI extreme audio doesn't work with it.

I do audio and video work. I need a driver that doesn't change anything - flat frequency response, no compression, etc. I get the impression that your drivers "tweak" a lot. Do you have anything where the driver doesn't affect the sound? I have an Xfi Extreme Gamer Fatality Pro.
