You can try copy new tweaks into 1.00 set see how they do I can rebuild it for you later on
New to Forum so apologies in advance for asking the obvious !
I have upgraded from Vista to Win 7 and my creative X-fi fatality champion works , .... but not the console launcher or sound recorder. After trawling for days to resolve the problem I came upon your site.
I have downloaded the version 1.05. I have followed the instructions to remove the original creative driver, done the reg sweep, restarted and hit a brick wall. When i type in "setup.exe I get the message that windows cannot find it
If I go into Device manager there is the dreaded exclamation mark against "other devices - multi media audio controller". There is no reference any longer under "sound, video game controllers" to creative.
Can you help me on this one please
Update to the previous post:
I have now installed from the set up, but I did the programme before the driver set-up. BUT still nothing works .... HELP
Pleased used titanium HD v1.00 driver then make sure driver sign is disable. If you can't find it change v1.05 to v1.00 in download link.
Further to the above ... I thought I read in one of the pages here that this would work for creative X-fi fatality champion platinum .... but I have just seen that it refers to the titanium .... so is this why I have the problem ... that this set up will not work on the platinum version ?
OK, I have downloaded V1.00 tweaked.
I have uninstalled every reference to Creative programmes and drivers.
The card I have is a creative X-fi fatality champion platinum.
Which version do I use 1.00 or 1.05
Do I go into the Driver file and hit setup.exe before hitting the main folders setup?
Click on main exe. setup reinstalled all apps. and drivers just make sure driver sign is disable did you copy rest updated tweaks into common folder of v1.00? From 1.05?
Here you go Let me know if this fix the issue > http://www.mediafire.com/download/e...ver_Suite_2013_V1.05_Default_Tweak_Edition.7z Please test everyone
Thanks for the reply.
This is what I have done:
I installed version 1.00 tweaked
Then I installed version 1.05 tweaked
Then I installed the version from the other site that you mentioned.
This is what happened with all of the versions:
cretive started up OK and did all the things that it should including the Consol Launcher (which did not work before)
BUT the what u hear feature did not work even though it was present in the list of recording devices in the Volume mixer. In that list of devices it was marked as "currently unavailable". I tried several things to get it available but none of them worked.
So I have everything working (I think) except "what U Hear" and the drop down bar that used to be on the screen permanently in the Vista version.
Did the mediafire driver work? You may need to delete creative stuff off the hard drive and start menu then reinstalled again. You are disable the driver sign correct?
I do not understand "disable the driver sign". Could you please explain what I have to do to do that.
You need go to F8 durning boot up then choice 7 driver sign on windows 7 64 bit if you have it.
