    @mohamed75
    are you use win 7 or 8 ?

    if win 7,
    first: you must uninstall the generic HD Audio driver from device menager. dont restart win.

    2nd: install "driver" pax, from folder

    .....\PAX MASTER PCIe Titanium Driver Suite 2014 V1.00 Default Tweak Edition\Drivers\setup.exe , then restart

    Prodigy X-FI 7.1 NRG is not made by creative and that is why creative's drivers do not work. It does have a creative X-fi chip, the the board and components are different. Thats why you need drivers from ESI which makes that card.

    I used to have one x-fi card that the installer and disc would not see the card. The only fix was to go to windows update and install the windows update driver before i installed creative's driver.

    Cool, so what is the best way to uninstall the current drivers?
    First uninstall drivers normally then reboot run the bat script and then driver cleaner.net?

    Also I noticed after installing the new set, it doesn't say PAX on the driver in the device manager. Is that normal?

    Its normal uninstall from device manger then reboot then run reg fix and defreg the reg if you haven't done full system hard check in long while I think you should do one. Run some type driver cleaner. Then on 7 rerun the whole package as administrator on 8.1 you still need disable driver sign.

    What I do is remove everything from creative in add/remove programs. Then go to the pax folder, the drivers, then run setup.exe. select driver uninstallation . Then check delete exhisting shared auido driver files. Click ok. Then go to device manager and remove the sound card. Check remove driver. Then use an app capped driver fusion and remove creative audio files that may still be lingeringm run the batch file that is also with pax drivers to del ini files. Then run ccleanef and scan registry for errors. It may take multiple scans on registry to remove all. Then reboot with driver signing disabled and then install pax.

    I noticed that in the device manager the driver doesn't say PAX, did you stop signing them with PAX? The date is from 1-5-2014 (dd/mm/yyyy) which is 5 days ago, so I assume it did install your drivers but I'm not quite sure since previously they had PAX on them.
