    Robert,
I've been using PAX modded drivers since I bought my Audigy 2 ZS in 2005. This driver suite, just like all the previous ones I have used, fails to disappoint with my PCIe X-Fi Titanium. Thank you for your work! That being said, I have one minor problem. When I use the Entertainment and Game mode, there seems to be a constant faint but audible high pitched squeal when I set my volume above 40%. It is only noticeable when using headphones. When using Audio Creation mode, the noise disappears. Any ideas? I don't remember this noise in older drivers, last time I downloaded a new PAX driver was around January.

Edit: I re-installed the v1.25 driver suite I had before and it seems the noise is in that set as well, maybe I just now noticed the noise because I just recently bought some Sennheiser HD 280 headphones... I am still curious if you have any ideas/solutions. In the meantime, I will continue to use Audio Creation mode with bit-matched playback.

Your welcome try lower the speakers setting too or used your hz setting tweak on your headphone and speakers not mine :). You can adjust them in the system 32 folder but you can search speaker.ini in search bar it be under the program file :) make sure you save your setting and restart the system. To you find right way. Is bass abit better in this set?

In comparison to the v1.25 driver suite, the bass does seem to be a bit punchier. I am looking at that speaker.ini file and am unsure which setting I need to tweak to fix that high pitched noise I was talking about. Which lines do I need to edit exactly?

Re: PAX MASTER PCIe Titanium Driver Suite V2.25A Default Tweak Edition

    Greetings Robert!

I'm following your driver updates since the begining unfortunately though, I cannot seem to hear major diffrences between all the diffrent .ini tweaks you have made to them.
So I come to the question, if it's better for me to customise the .ini files to my own likings?
Or persists the problem because I always define my own EQ settings after each driver update inside the "Game"-Console Launcher?

I've read the readme file inside the driver folder and checked the .ini's.
There is a speaker range noted:
    (the bass.ini as an example)
So my question is now: Should I change that? How exactly should I change them? My Headphone Hz range goes below the 10 Hz (You have mentioned in the readme that it may not be good to enter a lower Hz than 10 hz).

I appreciate your help as I would love to have just the perfect "custom" settings that suits my headphones along with your drivers.
    I'm using the following Headphones: Sennheiser HD 800 ( 6 – 51000 Hz (- 10 dB); 14 - 44100 Hz (- 3 dB) )

Again, thank you for your help! Keep up the excellent work :)

Re: PAX MASTER PCIe Titanium Driver Suite V2.25A Default Tweak Edition

Hi Robert, what is the function of setting range of frequency of our speakers/headphones? Is it a eq that cut the frequencies that we are going to not hear?

If it is that, music, movies, games, etc already come with frequency cleanup. No need to use this parameter.

Thank you for your work! :)

Re: PAX MASTER PCIe Titanium Driver Suite V2.25A Default Tweak Edition

What exactly do I have to change?
The bass.ini in the C:/windows/system32 folder or the headphones.ini in the common shortcut and reinstall the driver to take effect?
Can I change mine to 10hz~51khz similiar to the default one (from lowest to highest)?

I also would like to point out that 1 Encoder is missing since V2.25A
    DTS
On V2.25A there seems to be only Dolby Digital Live. No more DTS.
Update V2.25 had DTS though. (I got all the sound packs installed Dolby Digital Live and DTS Connect Pack) - are they incompatible to the alpha update?

Can not open Console Launcher, after click nothing shows up. Used Driver Fusion to clean up drivers before installation, tried twice, still same.

Re: PAX MASTER PCIe Titanium Driver Suite V2.25A Default Tweak Edition

Hmm, I can't install these I keep getting error messages about audiocon missing in the windows dir.
One of the errors I get is: C:\Windows\temp\CRF025\AudCon

    apparentlythe \AudCon data1 and data2.cab files are corrupted.:tears:

Can you check the zip file and fix this?
I've already re downloaded multiple times but this didn't help.

I deleted Console Launcher from control panel, then installed it from auto update, is that OK?
