I have problems with my sound card so I got it RMA'd and the new one does the same thing. Audio clips every minute or so. Its like a quick glitch. I don't know how to fix it. Can you help?

how do I install your tweaks also.. maybe if I install them it can help. I tried just running the exe and msi but it doesn't work. Anyway I can copy/paste the tweaks into folders on top of the creative driver I have installed?

    Hi,

First I want thank for great drivers. I loved x-fi drivers, but my soundcard died and now I moved to Zx.

Second I didn't found installation instructions in zip file. I suggest you include brief description of installing drivers for stupid people like me :).

Is this right way to install drivers?

    1. Install drivers from Creative web page
    2. Disabling Driver Signature
    3. Go to folder in PAX: \Audio\program files\Creative\Sound Blaster Z-Series\Program
    4. Use "Install.bat" to install drivers
    5. Reboot

If there is too much bass in headphones:

    1. Disabling Driver Signature
    2. Go to folder in PAX: \Audio\program files\Creative\Sound Blaster Z-Series\Program\Driver
    3. Open "Headphone.ini"
    4. Change "Configuration\HeadphoneBass,100%" to "Configuration\HeadphoneBass,50%" (if you want half of the bass)

Now which is better way delet old file(s)?

    5. Go to folder in PAX: \Audio\program files\Creative\Sound Blaster Z-Series\Program\
    6. Use "uninstall.bat" to uninstall drivers and old bass file
    7. Use "install.bat" to install drivers and updated bass file
    8. Reboot

    OR

    5. Go to folder in PAX: \delete_pax_tweaks
    6. Use "delete_pax_tweaks.bat"
    7. Go to folder in PAX drivers: \Audio\program files\Creative\Sound Blaster Z-Series\Program
    8. Use "install.bat" to install drivers and updated bass file
    9. Reboot

    Thanks for reply :)

I have currently no Z or ZXR here. Are there any bugs with Windows 8.1?
I'm looking forward to buy a Z or ZXR.
