Sorry in only work in the inf stuff I don't know main programming stuff sorry
That be kinda break creative ip right there modify there main files I only got permission work with infs
In that I really need working drivers for Windows 10 with working Console Launcher. Otherwise I am looking at a new soundcard, such as the Sound Blasterx AE-5 - which I don't really want to do.
Z series very good that's what I have
Can you not make Console Launcher work? I have offered to pay. I do not know what else I can ask?
Try my solution over here. Feel free to send me a PM if you encounter any issues. However, if you follow the instructions listed in the thread and the installer, you should be all set. Enjoy and happy holidays!
I'm going to reply to the first post in thread you linked to.
I can report that installing CSL_PCAPP_LB_2_60_29 works without any need for opening the file and extracting files. I installed CSL_PCAPPBETA_LB_2_61_49 immediately after, which uninstalled v2.60.29 before installing. Again, I experienced no problems when running the downloaded file without any extracting, etc.
I feel that CSL_PCAPPBETA_LB_2_61_49 will work without having to install CSL_PCAPP_LB_2_60_29 first. I am about to reinstall Windows 10 and try this for myself.
I really appreciate your help so far, Mister X. I wonder if perhaps Robert can integrate these files into his installer?
After testing and some mistakes on my part (oops!), it seems that you do need to install CSL_PCAPP_LB_2_60_29 before installing CSL_PCAPPBETA_LB_2_61_49. This isn't a big deal. As I said above, it would be nice if Robert could make these install with his installer in the first post of this thread.
That's the I don't know programming only tweaks lmao
Is this the right driver for what I got..??
Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Professional Series
Creative has released a new driver to fix this problem
I have just spotted this tonight and plan to test it with Windows 10 1809 x64 very soon (tonight).
Hopefully Robert McClelland will make a new driver pack with this update driver. I haven't seen him post for a very long time though.
Tested and confirmed working again.
Is there a way I can add the PAX mods and tweaks from this pack to the new drivers?
There's a new driver released past March 21st: https://files.creative.com/manualdn/Drivers/AVP/100256/0x3A626AFB/XFTI_PCDRV_L11_2_40_0018.exe
As much as I'd love for Robert McClelland on making new drivers for this awesome soundcard series I don't think he's still doing it, which is understandable and I very much respect his decisions as he has provided me with wonderful modded drivers for several cards while active.
As a side note, I bought a SoundBlasterX A-5 to see if it would match Robert McClelland modded drivers I must say, it comes pretty close but his drivers are unbeatable in my opinion.
I agree, Rob's PAX drivers are the best.
The problem with the new driver released by Creative is that it does not sound quite as good without the PAX tweaks. But it is a good thing that we have working drivers for Windows 10 - for the time being!
If somebody could post how to integrate PAX tweaks into the new Creative drivers, or how what to do after installation, then I would be very grateful.
