Yeah gaming PC's are real power suckers. The first time I bought a PSP i never touched my PC for a month. My electric bill dropped 1/3, how's that for power sucker?
The FPS is so much more intense on the pc and i just hate the console controls and there so much more you can do with the games like mods and other stuff
I think I used to own a megadrive back in the 90's - some kind of console anyways. It used to be the case that games on the PC were much more sophisticated and ground-breaking. Now we're in the sad position of having to put up with lacklustre console ports because it's cheaper for the developers to create. Case in point = Crysis 2. It looks like it's gonna be a good game, maybe one of the best console games yet but how much has been cut back from the Crysis experience to allow it to run on the consoles. Open world environments are gone for a start. Will it be just another corridor shooter like COD albeit with slightly better graphics - only time will tell. Who are the people that are pushing the boundaries that Crysis pushed all the way back in 2007?
I love gaming on PCs, gaming consoles have nothing on them. Graphics aren't the same, mouse is easier to aim with, If you have a gaming laptop, you can take games with you (I wish I had one).
hell yeah PC gaming is the best... that's way i spend my couple bucks regularly upgrading my hardware so i can play with better graphics and game play rather than console. it's not that console is bad, well actually console is good but nothing can take away my PC Gaming
I actually now play all of my racing games on PS3 and not PC, only one I'm missing is TDU2 and I'll prob pick that up next month PC is still the boss though you just can't play CS:GO or BF3 properly on a console, i don't give a damn what anyone says, and as for things like Total War series, CoH, not to mention flight SIMs... forget about it
I've been playing HL2 and will venture into HL2: EP1 and HL2: EP2 once those are done. For multi-player, I've been playing Left 4 Dead 2
Rather than persevere with the off-topic thread necro, I'd like to humbly suggest that we have that kind of discussion here from now on There's also a thread somewhere about lists of games that people have completed, but I cannot find it
