UFX is working with fine till now.......gr8 work.
I'm also using the new UFX39 and KX 3538L without any problems. The install went well here. UFX and kick a$$ asio is like pop rocks and coca cola
New UFX rocks. This time I got no problems at all. The parametric eq is fantastic! Good work.
Hi! New mirror for UFX plugins:
Thanks, Max, 4 your plugins
_would be great also th the plugins would install in a separate directory,i mean in a separate Menu _selection (as for Profx).
Now i'm gonna try them
i was not proud enough to ask for making a separeted ufx sub-menu - well, kX's menu partitioning is quite weird - so well historically - ufx plugins are messed up through there (not too much though - just 'filters' and the main)
I am another to opt for the UFX Sub-Menu. My thoughts are you should be very pruod of those plugins and they took alot of work so you should be very proud. IS it possible to add the menu now? by moving the files?..etc? or does it have to be done by Eugene or the others? It does make it a little more dificult for newbies, BUT I figure if your that new that you can't find them you aren't ready for them anyway...Just my opinion. It would make things easier.
Same here. A submenu and "UFX" prefix for all Max's effects.
>IS it possible to add the menu now? by moving the files?..etc?
Yes, you can customize plugin menus by editing the categories.ini file (found inside kxskin container)
- but it's impossible to add a new submenu though (only existing menus)
you can add new categories as well
just place their names to lang.ini
ah, interesting - i did not know that. nice.
Hiya Max M.:
I've been without a PC and frequent Internet access for about a year, but I'm back with a new PC and Internet access at my home, again.
I want to give a very big THANK YOU SO MUCH for updating your UFX Plugins for 3538l!!!!!!!
They are a Professional sounding set of FXs, and using them saves precious CPU power when one uses the kX effects rather than software based FXs, and since your UFX plugins are of such good quality, the kX user notably benefits from the use of the UFX plug ins!!!!!
You and LeMury are very dear assets to the kX community! We're so lucky to have you around. Thanks for your work!
Just thought I would mention that I got the same error again installing UFX with 3538m, that I did with 3538L. In any case, it is not a big deal (again it is probably something related to my system), as again, UFX works fine anyway.
Sorry to inform that UPX in current version 1.53.3538 (3538j) is crashing my kxmixer.
Error message: Faulting application kxmixer.exe, version 22.214.171.12438, faulting module ufx.kxl, version 126.96.36.19938, fault address 0x0000124f.
OS: Win2003 Server
KxPackage version: kxdrv3538m-full
First, I'm not sure if kX officially supports Windows server 2003.
Second, the UFX package to use with the .3538m kX Audio driver is UFX 39 Pre-Release (3538k) (UFX 1.53.3539). You can get that version of UFX from here: http://www.geocities.com/russell_garber/plug.html
You can try out that version and see how things work for you in Win Server 2003 until Max M. or somebody else may reply to your post.
>1.53.3538j - kxdrv3538m-full
no wonder - J is for J. for K and later use 1.53.3539
Win Server 2003 should go fine.
UFX does not work for me in kX 3539, does it work for anyone else?
Separate names with a comma.
