comes with Grey Poupon..
Oh yeah I knew that you could run 4 monitors off one GTX670.. Well that's cool about being able to run a separate monitor off a totally separate card though, without eating VRAM resources on the main card(s).
**Getting second GTX670 tomorrow!** Woot
Two is even nicer!
indeed it will be and is...
You should also be able to use the 3rd card for PhysX assistances too while driving the 4th monitor...... win win...
true, that is also possible..
It's a while since I've run multiple monitors, but I believe there's a driver setting to prevent this from being an issue. Not sure, though.
I'm also not sure what happens when you move an application from, in your case, the primary monitor to the 4th monitor. Does everything get transferred to the extra graphics card? That could take a non-trivial amount of time. What if the application was using features not supported by the extra graphics card?
not sure about any driver setting but I look at it like this, whichever card is displaying on the monitor has to be using VRAM even if minimal.
so why it might not have made a difference or made a difference of 1-2FPS I wouldn't know but would like to find out.
I'm too lazy for testing though..
and yes I can transfer everything to any monitor at any time except during Surround gaming.
left three monitors Surround and the fourth is display, no changing that and I haven't come across any compatibility issues with any apps.
I really do not see (in my case) what wouldn't be compatible running on the 670's or the 240 as this is a 'gaming' unit primarily.
240 is DX10 but that's irrelevant.
I might get round to testing with my 460 and an 8500GT in the summer - see whether any benchmarks are impacted by the second monitor with and without the 8500GT, and what happens when I drag a GPU intensive application (like Furmark) from one to the other.
not sure about dragging something like Furmark over from different GPU's like that,
but dragging from one window to another on one GPU shouldn't hurt.
I just think it wouldn't work, and the screen would be black if you dragged a DX11 3d app to the other screen.
I'm not trying it...
impressive things you've got here
replacing 2500K with 2700K ($175 shipped) also gonna redo cable management..
AW: Post your computer place!

As mention in the show you news stuff thread... My desk arrived today and 3 hours later..
BTW: This is shot in Panoromic mode on my iphone 5..
Enjoy! Nice fit.
