Getting a new and faster router didn't change much to the outside... But xfer speeds between my computers have increase a huge amount.
Just upgraded to Bell Fibe 15/10. Seriously, it DOES pay to be nice to people (and pay your bills on time.. and be a loyal ISP customer since '95). Got the modem fee waived ($100 savings), faster speeds up/down, got to keep my old 100GB bandwidth cap plus 50GB more for $5 (and I think my old 40GB standby is still there too which I'm not paying for now.. won't know for sure until my next bill), all for way less money than what I was paying for my Fibe 12 (Internet + monthly modem fee + standby). And even though the tech service was free anyways the guy went above what he had to do as he replaced the main box inside my house, and ran a good 100 feet worth of new cable for the dedicated VDSL line. Joy joy feelings... big hug.
that the US is slow when it comes to internet speeds. and actually that score is a better one for me. not making a 'mine is better than yours' comment..
Just received a letter from my isp saying that my speed were doubling up from an offer from Virginmedia.
If the Rolleyes is for the last post... I am currently paying for 50 MB from virginmedia (I know the upgrade were due within the next year or so) according to the online prediction were October of this year. Which altered to feb of 2013 as a prediction for my post code. And im now on the updated Download speed... The Upload score is pretty poor TBH.
Not just yours... 90% of the guys on here exceed my slow as molasses speed. And by quite a margin at that
Sorry... I did not see your score.... Just did not come across that you were disappointed with your own..
Hey guys got my new 20/2 speed Download Speed: 20420 kbps (2552.5 KB/sec transfer rate) Upload Speed: 2069 kbps (258.6 KB/sec transfer rate) New price for year 50 bucks after that goes up 15 but well worth it. . And speed stays at that speed it doesn't flux like other one does.

Just a few days ago, Comcast upped our Internet Download and Upload speeds. Here's the first result of the new speeds.... And, the second run....
