you guys have a ridiculous speed.. I'm quite content with this:
Comcast Docsis 3.0 here in Indiana its a 50/5 package
Dowgraded my 40/8 to a 30/2. I just don't use the upload and the difference in downstream is not noticeable, plus I save around 35$ each month.
But as a bonus, I got interleaving turned off on my VDSL2 connection, so my latency dropped from 30 on most servers to around 10-13
I can't believe it's been so many months since our last update on this thread.
Here's my current speed after installing a new Cisco/Linksys E3000-N router tonight....
abusing the connection at the parents over wifi:-
It is a good information about internet speed test!!!!!
I test my internet speed, through this site IP Details.com : Internet Speed test
My speed test results are,
upload speed:0.52 kbps
download speed:1.96 kbps
I check my speed test before and after of the downloading process!!!!!!
not too bad i suppose.....
We got a new Cisco/Linksys router and I'm getting almost exactly the same results....
Not to bad for being behind two routers and a Modem.
Guys updated thread here > http://www.hardwareheaven.com/off-topic-forum/195088-check-out-people-my-new-internet-speed-3.html hehe
I change from Bell Sympatico to Videotron TGV30 Cable
I was a 3,42 / 0,70 with Bell and now
buddy of mine has that crazy fiber optic shit for condos from Telus... gets 80mbps down should of taken a screen of that
All I have to say is wow, your guys uploads suck.
I use the same internet-quality MIT/Harvard does (10 minute drive away. Go go fiberoptics!~).
