So my little bro is moving up in the world, he just pulled the trigger on this, a Certified Pre-Owned 2016 Mercedes-Benz E300 AWD 4MATIC (and with 329HP it isn't a slow car), his credit is pretty good so they should accept him at a good rate, he's just waiting for what they have to say now:

Well my little bro phoned this morning to let me know he is going over to the dealership to have a final look at the car, and if he likes what he sees, he's driving it home. He'll be visiting me in May for my birthday, so looking forward to him giving me a few rides in it. :)

He even said I can drive it if I like, but I don't think I will.

(and all this coz a girl he fancies told him the car he drives, a Subaru Outback, doesn't suit him lol)

@niceguyrichy I certainly hope your car shows up soon.

yeah weird thing, a Toyota Corolla that actually looks good

the current Civic is a mess, too many angles, but I like the Corolla that will arrive sometime probably at the end of the year if behind the scenes projections are anything to go by..

I guess I haven't posted my newest ride. For the most of you...if not ALL of you...it's not spiffy enough. ;) But, for my taste, it's right down my alley! I'm more for the practical solution than the fancy one. So, this past October, having totally enjoyed the new 2015 KIA Soul I had driven for over 96K miles, I went for the newer style KIA Soul 2020 model. Totally brand new, too.

NOTE: Well, skip that! I'm getting "error...file too large" again. :(

    Then why not host it?

Why not get HH to do what it has done for so many years and let photo images be uploaded? I know perfectly well that I could host and post it from FB...or any other hosting site. I also know that I can edit the image size and then upload it....MAYBE...as long as HH is happy with the new size. But, it all boils down to "if it takes a detour to make it work I'd rather not take the detour." There's still a link button to "Upload a File" right below this text.

It's a little wonky but I seem to be able to get the site to accept the files I wish to post. The size limit is there, but I don't have a problem with a quick swish through Paint.NET. I like it better than some other forums that resize to a fixed size and with very aggressive compression.

More or less on topic, some ancient beasts that still roam the savanna. The one on the left was my ride for a couple of days this January (that turned out to be perfect timing for a trip, considering what followed).
