jesus fucking christ! i almost lost the vette not less then 30 mins ago.

the fuel delivery hose going to the carburator worked its way free and sprayed gas all over the block. i saw smoke comeing out so i poped the hood and saw flames. well with this being a mild winter i had almost no snow around here and not enough to put it out. hoses? all inside. didnt have a big bucket to fill up with water either. i ended up haveing to grab the fire exstinguisher out of the garage.

i got very lucky, all the damage appears to be only cosmetic. so needless to say, from now on ill be carrying a fire exstinguisher in that car at all times from now on.

bad clamp is all i can think of. i know its not hooked up properly right now, had to bypass the fuel filter since its completly clogged.

PJ, im afraid to look at the wireing in my vette. its all wrapped in electrical tape. the few times ive had to unwrap wires ive found them spliced and hacked in about 8 diffrent spots.

you know, between the three of us, we should have 3 seperate stickied threads about our cars :p. cuz it seems like we're the only ones that talk about cars all the time. and if Z wants in, he can have a bike thread too :p

I'm saving up for these wheels~ I'd get more chicks with this than with my real ride... It's been good to me, for the most part. But it's not a good looking car.

oh, BTW another-user, here in so cali it's also "middle of winter" and today's high was a cool 84 degrees F ;).
