After largely ignoring the feature for a couple generations, Sony is once again pushing backward compatibility for the upcoming PlayStation 5, but just how far back will it reach? Microsoft has promised Xbox Series X players will be able to play games dating all the way back to the original Xbox, so will the PS5 offer something similar? Don’t count on it.

This is BS. Not just the lack of backwards compatibility for the PS5, but also the supposed one for the XboxOneXseriesXwtfstupidnameX. The Xbox will only have backwards compatibility with games already released as backwards compatible , not every or even majority of Xbox games. For example the PGR series.

Its not a couple of generations at all, the PS2 and PS3 both had Backwards compatibility and the 5 is getting it so its only the PS4 that did not have it
