I'm wondering if DC will clear out driver files for the ASUS Xonar audio card line, specifically the D2X audiocard. From the screenshots I've seen, it mentions just about every other audio card/chipset so before I buy the program I'm doing my due dilegence. I'm currently having problems with my card and Asus's Tier 2 tech suggested using a driver cleaner to clean my system before trying to reinstall things.
Hi, if it uses a creative or realtek chipset then driver cleaner can clean it, but if it is a chipset from asus itself then my program can't clean that.
Thanks for the response, I think the chipset might be proprietary to ASUS so I might be out of luck then These are what's listed on the D2X spec sheet: Main Chipset Audio Processor: ASUS AV200 High-Definition Sound Processor (Max. 192KHz/24bit) 24-bit D-A Converter of Digital Sources: TI Burr-Brown PCM1796 *4 (123dB SNR, Max. 192kHz/24bit) 24-bit A-D Converter for Analog Inputs: Cirrus-Logic CS5381* 1 (120dB SNR, Max. 192kHz/24bit)
