Radeon Omega Drivers 2.6.25 (Cat 5.4)

hi all,

got some very weird problem with the latest omegas : no signal (black screen) when xp starts... the old driver set(s) works without a problem.

anyone else got this problem?

thx omega for the extra effort on this set.i havent ran any benches yet but i really like the new installer option for not installing radlinker.dont get me wrong i love radlinker and have used it for a couple of years without any problems.but i got a card with hardware monitoring and i use ati tray tools now so i can have temps displayed and a tweaking app in one install.

P:S: hey mig,i know a few people have told you there hl2 worked fine but another confirmation of them working wont hurt.css has never ran smoother for me.

hmmm, that really sucks. No new drivers for me until there is a fix I guess (or a hot fix)..

So is it all custom resolutions or just certain custom resolutions? I can't test them, I don't have access to my rig right now.

 

Guys, sorry for the soft-mod problem, I made a boo-boo and forgot to patch the soft mod files, my bad I am uploading a new fixed file as I write this, will post it for download in less than 1 hour.

love the older omega drivers install no problems everytime i try to installl these i dont have a control panel i have removed the previous official catalyst 5.4 i had i tried reinstalling these no avail it never installs,,i dont understand what am i doing wrong anyone please?? i have an ati x850 xt pe? asus p4-800 dx motherboard and 1.5 gigs of dual channel pc3200 platinum it says reboot and nothing happens in control pannel all i see is radlinker??

 

FATAL SYSTEM ERROR !

upon reboot i got the dredded blue screen

the installitation was fine.

Its a laptop, toshiba A30 M33 Mobility 9000/9100 igp

Any ideas why this happened, all previous sets were flawless, and its on a fresh install, no other sets were on it.

 

Omega get me on Messenger when you have the update. I am going to remove the current file to save on bandwidth until you have a fixed version.:duh:

Don't use softmod so I will comment on my install. Everything went fine. I am getting some strange lag in CS:S, but will try again tomorrow as I think my DSL is flakey tonight.

Does anyone know the the problem with my Sapphire x800 Pro and 5.4's are? It doesn't work with Cat 5.4's or Omega 5.4's. It's really annoying. And does anyone know a link for Omega 5.2's I need them back.

No control Panel

I have this exact same problem with my X800 XL. Neither this driver or the omega 5.2 will give me a control panel in fact the drivers say they are finished installing but they never do upon reboot it gives the hardware install wizard.

Omega did you not give X800 XL AGP support for your recent drivers?

Ati 5.4 have no issues

 

All cards are supported, if your card was not supported it would say so during installation, the problem must be another thing, re-run the installer with no Radlinker and test.

 

My lag cleared up. It was my DSL. Great drivers. CS:S never looked better.

 

I also have an x800 xl (pci-e tho) and can't install your drivers. I've tried with and without Radlinker but nothing happens like the normal ATI driver install with almost full screen window setup, it just cuts to the end and says installation complete. Upon restart nothing was installed.

 

Omega I also tried several times with and without rad linker to no avail.

Usually when installing drivers windows asks for confirmation of unsigned omega drivers but during the 5.2 and 5.4 it says nothing and completes normally.

 

same video card, same problem. tried re downloading from a diff mirror and reinstalling several times.

i still appreciate the effort on the drivers, i have used omega drivers for awhile now. and also thanks to the folks kind enuff to host the mirror's.

 

The update version still not supporting 9800SE softmod!

I use the AIDA to check the pipeline, it is 4 pipelines and Texel Fillrate is 1296MTexel/s,
the softmoded version should be 2500MTexel/s...

 

Indeed, 9500@9700 softmod isn't working either for the updated version !
OmegaDrive, I'm hoping you fix this issue soon ! Please !
