Question: Have $150 to spend on a case. Go with CoolerMaster 690 II or NZXT Phantom?

I'd go with a Phantom every time, but then I have been slightly in love with it since I first laid eyes..

    I think the NZXT is a bit of a poser's case :p

I also trust CM's designs more. A mate of mine has an NZXT case worth about £90 fitted with the worst fans I've ever encountered, and numerous very flimsy plastic fittings.

What's wrong with your Storm Sniper anyway?

I'd be tempted by the Fractal Designs XL in that price bracket.

It came with a defective 200mm fan/LED, and it's quite flimsy in it's plastic parts (one of the fans has warped and makes an irritiable buzzing sound). Most likely I'll throw it in the basement and use it for some customer/friend/relative's rig.

Sounds livable to be honest, just replace the noisy fan (noisy PCs ftl).

    I don't trust Brits.

Yes, I am - I dislike the look of the case a good amount :/ I may end up swapping cases with an old CM 690 II in the basement.

And if I end up doing anything, it'll probably be setting up a SSD raid 0 (how can I resist, seeing yours' results, Tyrs :D)

I am seriously fucked off with the recent car insurance renewal.

My current insurer (Direct Line) now wants £1100.98p to insure a 1999 1.8T VW Passat thats only worth £600 at best... And at the age of 37.

I have Full No Claims Bonuses & a Clean liscence..

This is where im pissed off.Where the hell has the bonus points gone from those who don't claim for anything..!

    A) My sister 8 years younger than me,Drives a 04 Ford Focus ST170 with only 4 years no claims bonus paid under £800 recently.

    B) My 24 year old neice drives a Ford Puma 1.7 (Y Reg) with only 4 years no claims is much cheaper than mine..

Try a different insurance company? Not sure how it works in the UK, but that does seem ridiculously high -- I believe mine (as an 18 year old driver with a clean record) is around $800, so...

I have tried Many companys in the uk... And i can not accept £650 from last year to rise to £1.1k+ (£400) when i have full bonuses and a clean D/L.

The last accident that were my fault were back in 2001 which should now be void. And all insurers ask for the claims in the last 5 years.. And any offenses in the last 5 years..

The uk Is PROFIT ONLY first service falls way below. And all services will call on a excuse to increase the premiums.

But bare in mind i have now paid my current company £3000 and naver claimed a penny of them... Thats the F$%ing Joke. They have lost my custem...

I pay £600 a year aged 19. Definitely try another company (or comparison site), but also check that you didn't accidentally tick the box for leaving your car in a crime hotspot of an evening, using it for business, wanting zero excess against bird poop cleaning, or whatever else. Sometimes was can seem at first glance like small things add heaps to the cost of your policy.

    A) Be Very Very Careful if you lie (Im not saying you are) to an insurer.
    B) Im self employed. So i do know i have business use...

If it comes to a claim it will cost you more.. Remember they have everything on record. If they detect something you have lied about it will cost you more

Some things may increase the excess you may need to pay,Despite what you have accepted.. And there is certain things on the policy will make an insurance policy totally VOID.

Trust Me blibbax you will won't con an insurer easily.

EDIT: Just to add to what i have said this is the most expensive i have paid in the last 15 years..

You see im getting older and so is my car... Usully in the past the insurance got cheaper..
