You should watch out Ivan, don't wanna get diabetes.
Fortunately, I'm not that big a glutton to eat all that all by myself in just a few hours. Five of us shared the box, so it wasn't too bad. But it still felt like we weren't doing anything except crunching the whole day and when a coworker and I finished the last two pieces, I looked at the clock and it was around time to start packing. Although, in retrospect, stuff did get done, so maybe it's the recipe for being happy and productive at work (although it might come with side effects).
BTW, if you ever find yourself in Croatia, make sure to try the candy made by Kraš (it's pronounced like 'crush'), some of it is on the expensive side, but it's really good!
My favorite chocolatier right now is Cailler of Switzerland, but I'll definitely taste that brand if I ever get the chance. I was just on their site, looks tasty.
So my niece decided to buy a climbing Frame and playset for her daughter.. and gave me a challenge to build a ultimate Flat Pack..
one hell of a challenge to give my Great Niece a good few years of fun...
The instructions were a total pain in the ass.. But the result had paid off, A few places had to be compromised, got here in the end.
Her Dad and my great niece.. (Not to sure who looks Happier)
What is family For..
Lovely pictures, it has to be really fulfilling to do something like that.
Those leftover boards adds confidence in the structural integrity of the unit...
Looks like it, They are just spare boards to be used if needed.. (and were mentioned in the instructions)
That's fantastic MIG mine would have collapsed lol
Thanks for that, it took around 20 hours to build split over two weekends..
And yes I were wondering who MUG were
Hahaha you were quick to spot that
looks great @MIG-31, good job mate
my rig just overheated and shut itself down.
it's pretty warm here today (for Scotland), but that's still slightly concerning..
might have to dial back the OC a little for the summer I reckon.
Hopefully it's not something wrong with it.
Here's a site I found which is rather interesting. Go, on give it a whirl and see how creative you can actually be lol. One of my friends actually manage to draw pepe the frog.
yeah hopefully. not actually that long since I had to completely rebuild
haven't tried firing it up since actually.
worried it's not gonna work..
Well, you've gotta bite the bullet sometime or other.
well it works fine, it's just the high OC and a ridiculous warm living room making it overheat a little.
I'll dial it back & we'll be all good
silly hot & humid here this week, its meelllllting me
having to drink twice as much icy cold beer as usual to cope..
bought myself an RX580 so I can sell it online for a tidy profit. The store sold it for $450, but I've seen them go at the online marketplace upwards of $600. With them getting rarer and rarer, it is doubtful I'll lose money on it
a few people got wise and starting mining themselves.... i'm debating if i should bother yet... i could stuff 5 of them in my machine easily.
IDK... I actually started a thread on the subject on another forum (non-English), the short version seems to be that, at the moment, mining is profitable (though one should mine stuff other than Bitcoin) and 570s and 580s give the best bang for buck, but the caveat is that nobody knows for how long it's going to be profitable on any current GPU, so in a few months one might find oneself with a pile of cards that cost more to operate 24/7 than they can earn and at that point it will also be a bit late to get rid of them, as miners will be dumping them on the second hand market en masse.
it's the same thing that happened to bitcoin earlier... most are mining something other than bitcoin.. that's long since been a dead horse... but the whole debacle is nothing but a repeat of what happened with the R9 290/290x and just about every HD7xxx/8xxx and R9 2xx cards capable of producing some good numbers for bitcoin mining.... luckily in this case that it's the tail end before a new product launch rather than ABRUPTLY after a new product launch (unless you consider the RX5xx an honestly new launch.... it's more of a refresh of the rx400 so no one's really out anything for the most part).
