ha! i gave in to some steam deals too. some damn good ones this time though one of our mates up here had -11°C overnight last night. brrr is all i can say. i insisted we do our last shop today (we usually do it on xmas eve for some stupid reason), so i can spend most of tomorrow in bed, then the rest getting fat and quaffing wine course, there's the small matter of the couch in my study being full of pressies that all need wrapped at some point, but i'm sure i'll get to that..

just got back from seeing avatar on the imax in 3d. it was an ok movie, but wasnt worth the 15 dollar ticket. also, it turns out that how they did the 3d effect, i cant see it, so the entire 3d experience was lost on me 90% of the time. there were a few spots i could see it, like the GUI overlay on the video logs, but that was it. oh right... and the group of avatar fanbois i was stuck next too. never in my life have i felt so stabbity. stop jumping up and down in your god damn seat, stop fucking crying (yes, CRYING) and stop having a 3hr long god damn nerdgasm in which you piss off every one around you. bunch of fat fucks spilling over into my seat. i had forgot why i dont pay for movies anymore, or go see movies that dont show at 10pm onwards.
