    hey anyone know what those classic desk type toy things are called; the one that's a whole bunch of sliding pins in a board, that you push your hand or face or whatever onto.
    know what i mean ?? :confused:

    want one, can't find one, dont know what they're called...

    don't chuck anything useful / usable away, freecycle it :)

    btw, i went throught the office/desk section, & the retro sections of about a half dozen gadgety shops, but crucially not iwantoneofthose :lol:

    Actually I can...... my speedometer is off because of the new wheels but not by that much and I know about that and adjusted. Also, the cop spotted my car because of the wheels and asked if they were "different" ......

    He did bump my actual speed, 60mph, up to make a 10 mph over the limit...... as they get more money that way. :rolleyes:

    At least he didn't bump it up higher as that would be "reckless operation" :x

    HaHa i were only joking...

    The larger the wheel,the less wear you will get on the Rubber too.. So it may save you a small amount in fuel also.

    These new wheels are actually smaller diameter than the stock, (stock 17" new ones are 16") on a front wheel drive it's quicker in the first 60 feet, IF you can get traction.... ;) They are about 20 pounds lighter than stock. Tire diameter is about 1/2 inch less than stock. Next year when I get new tires they will be the same diameter as stock.

    I was 5 mph over which should get a warning, not a ticket...... My fault, but he took it to the next level.

    endpiece (to tighten the chain) fell of the swingarm who knows when or how, which caused the chain to slacken. That went unnoticed and resulted in a worn sprocket.. Which can now be replaced, maybe together with the chain.. which isn't particularly cheap! isn't life grand >.<
