I never followed trends and as you say most would go with a larger wheel....... In this case there's sound reasons for going with a smaller size rim, besides just looking cool, I'm just an old school hot rodder.
sup guys! i'm back for a bit. i just got my finals done with and i have a whole two weeks of break! yay! LOL does anybody know how to calculate GPA for 3 classes @ 11 units for A, A, and C grades. then again for A, A, and B grades? cuz that's what i got for this semester.
actually, with a smaller rim than stock, you can still get the same diameter as stock if you get a higher profile tire. for example, if you have a 16in stock rim with a 205/55/16 tire and then move to a 15in rim, you can achieve the same diameter as stock if you went with a 195/65/15 tire. this will keep your speedometer readings all the same and you won't run into these sorts of issues. follow the link below to play around with different size tires Tire size calculator
Sorry Ty this reminds me of my incident with the cops .. they are all the same wherever you go :bleh:
You think you've got it bad? In the UK there's zero tolerance, 1mph over the limit, you've got yourself a £60 fine and 3 points on your license. And since i'm legally classed as a "New Driver" (in other words F*KNG RUN HE'S GOT A CAR! :rofl and a hazard to the general public for the next 2 years i can't get any more than 6 points before i have my license taken off me. The police will also take any opportunity they get to pull me over, search me, run breath tests, check my insurance, tires, tax, ownership, license, ect. ect. ect. They basically want an excuse to get me off the road because i'm young. It's the same with anybody in this country until you're about 25 though because of the :xng press giving us such a bad identity.
